About the EPA

Library Services

The EPA Library delivers specialised information and research services in support of the Agency's operations and strategic goals.

Collections feature current and historical Environmental Protection Agency and Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service publications.

Collection strengths include: biodiversity, coastal management and engineering, conservation of natural resources, environmental protection and planning, environmental sciences, forests, indigenous issues, national and marine parks, natural and cultural heritage, pollution, sustainability, water and wildlife.

Services available to external clients

External clients include staff from other Queensland Government agencies, private consultants, representatives of industry and interest groups, universities, and members of the public.

External clients may:

Access by external clients is by appointment only during business hours: 8.30 am to 5 pm, Monday — Friday.

External clients are not permitted to borrow EPA Library resources directly or access research databases purchased for the Agency. They may however borrow selected resources via interlibrary loan from a public, university, or corporate library. Fees and conditions may apply.

Students will be referred to the libraries of their schools, colleges or universities.
