Public reporting
The Environmental Protection Agency and its agencies are required to report annually in the terms of the Financial Audit and Administration Act. The purpose of the annual report is to provide readers with accurate and useful information about the activities and performance of the Agency.
The report includes its audited financial statements and the annual reports of the Wet Tropics Management Authority, the Queensland Recreation Areas Management Board, the Beach Protection Authority, the Queensland Heritage Council, the Raine Island Corporation, and the Board of Trustees of Newstead House.
Further information is contained in current statements of affairs and policy documents, the Strategic Plan, annual reports of the administration of the Environmental Protection Act 1994 and the Nature Conservation Act 1992, and printed publications. Printed copies can be inspected at major Environmental Protection Agency offices.
