Strategic planning

The Environmental Protection Agency’s Strategic Plan summarises the environmental management activities that will be undertaken during a specified period.  It spells out the strategic direction for the Agency, records a commitment to certain priorities and provides the basis for detailed planning activities for the next four years.

The Strategic Plan is developed within the Queensland Government’s Managing for Outcomes performance management framework, which sets out the Government’s priorities in response to community needs.  The Strategic Plan is linked to the Agency’s outputs, to our financial management programs and our organisational performance.  It shows how we will build on progress already made and consolidate our achievements.
