Searches / notifications

A joint search of the Search Environmental Management and Contaminated Land Registers (EMR/CLR) usually forms part of the normal conveyancing process. Both Registers are automatically searched when you do the one search of the EMR/CLR database. You may also require a search if you are considering developing or changing the use of a piece of land. The EMR/CLR is a public register and anyone can undertake a search of any parcel of land for the prescribed fee.

When undertaking a search, you will need to provide:
