Remove a place from the Register
General information
The Queensland Heritage Register is a list of places or buildings of cultural heritage significance in Queensland that is maintained by the Queensland Heritage Council. It gives community recognition to the value and importance of significant cultural heritage places.Under Section 36 of the Queensland Heritage Act 1992 any person can apply to nominate a place for removal from the Register.

Nominating a place for removal from the Register triggers a review process and determination by the Heritage Council. Your application must include a detailed submission explaining why the cultural heritage significance of the place no longer justifies its retention in the Register.Forms and fees
