Commercial activities

The Environmental Protection Agency/Queensland Parks and Wildlife (EPA/QPW) manages more than 11 million hectares of parks and forests across Queensland.

Most areas are characterised by their natural landscapes and significant natural and cultural values, and conservation of natural and cultural values is a key goal of QPW management of all areas. These areas provide opportunities for commercial activities that are consistent with conservation of natural and cultural values. See below for details:
