Mobile food-vending operations can range from vehicle-based kiosks to people on foot carrying food and drinks along a walking track.Reasons for offering such services include:
- convenience to visitors;
- access for local people to additional income-generating opportunities.

If you are considering applying for a mobile food-vending deed of agreement, discuss the proposal with local QPWS staff before making formal application.Permits and approvals
Where possible, mobile food-vending operations will be undertaken outside protected areas. Any approval for food vending in a protected area must be authorised through a deed of agreement on a case-by-case basis.
