Codes of practice
A code of practice is generally a collection of rules or procedures about a particular topic or activity. The EPA is involved with a number of Codes that deal with environmental issues, all of which have different roles and functions under Queensland legislation. These codes can be grouped into different types:
- Industry environmental codes
- Nature conservation codes
- Ozone depleting substances
- Environmental compliance codes
