Welcome to Sustainable Industries
Many programs have been established within the Queensland EPA to help industries
achieve competitive advantage by moving beyond compliance levels of environmental
performance to new standards of eco-efficiency and eco-marketing.
Through its Sustainable Industries Branch, the EPA offers help and advice,
a consumer information service and training support services. These are delivered
largely through industry associations. In partnership with the associations
of key industry sectors we are working on long-term strategies to improve the
quality of life for all Queenslanders. Our mission is to help Queensland industry
to invest, compete and profit sustainably.
