Landholders
National parks alone cannot maintain the amazing diversity of plants and animals found in Queensland.
Nature refuges are voluntary conservation agreements between landholders and QPWS to protect areas of significant conservation value.
Extension officers are located at regional offices throughout the state. They provide information, advice and assistance to landholders and the community on bushland management and property planning.
