Botanical information

Botanical specimens can be sent by mail or brought to the Queensland Herbarium for identification. Relevant information on poisonous properties, distribution, weediness and conservation status is also available on request. Charges apply for commercial clients.

Note: do not send specimens in plastic bags.

Many botanical publications are available from the Queensland Herbarium including brochures containing identification keys to the eucalypts and wattles of the greater Brisbane area.
