Camping in Mount Mee State Forest and Forest Reserve
There are two camping areas at Mount Mee: Archer campground and Neurum Creek campground. Camping permits are required and fees apply. A tag with your booking number must be displayed at your campsite.
Park-specific conditions
Due to the small size of the campsites and designated car spaces at Neurum Creek and Archer campgrounds, they are not suitable for campervans, trailers or caravans.

Neurum Creek campground
Campground features: Bush camping in a rainforest setting.
Location: Off Neurum Creek Road, about 6.3km from the southern access to the park (The Gantry) and about 13.5km from the northern access to the park (Woodford end).
Access: The campground is not suitable for trailers, caravans or campervans. 4WD is recommended.
Number of sites: 13 numbered sites. Maximum of 6 people per site.
Campsites are suitable for: tent camping beside your car and walk-in camping.
Campsite surface: Raised dirt pads.
Facilities: Water (boil before drinking), septic toilets and fireplaces.
Open fires: Allowed (except when fire bans or prohibitions apply) in fire rings only. Bring your own clean, milled firewood. Do not bring in or collect wood from the bush.
Generators: Prohibited.
Essentials to bring: Rubbish bags, firewood, insect repellent and first-aid kit. A fuel or gas stove is recommended for cooking. Read more about Things to know before you go.

Archer campground
Campground features: Bush camping in open woodland, close to the creek.
Location: On Loveday’s Road, about 1km from northern access to the park (Woodford end) and about 16km from the southern access to the park (The Gantry).
Access: The campground can be reached by conventional vehicle from the north via Woodford. From the south via The Gantry it is only accessible by 4WD. It is not suitable for trailers, caravans or campervans.
Number of sites: 9 campsites spread over an open grassy area.
Campsites are suitable for: tent camping close to your car, walk-in camping, large groups.
Campsite surface: Grass.
Facilities: Water (boil before drinking), septic toilets, communal fire rings.
Open fires: Allowed (except when fire bans or prohibitions apply) in fire rings only. Bring your own clean, milled firewood. Do not bring in or collect wood from the bush.
